Cleon LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company with registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Our team operates primarily out of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The brand is Cleon; the legal entity behind it is Cleon LLC.

We collect the minimum we need to do our job. Four sources, nothing else:

• Contact form. Your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you write.
• Email correspondence. When you write to hello@wearecleon.com or privacy@wearecleon.com, we receive whatever you write plus the standard email metadata (from address, timestamps, headers).
• Cookieless analytics (always on). Vercel Analytics records anonymized aggregate usage (route, country at country level, device type) without setting cookies and without storing personal data. This runs under legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and does not need consent.
• Cookie-based analytics (consent-gated). If — and only if — you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 records anonymized usage (page views, referrer, device type, IP truncated to /24, no precise geolocation) using cookies _ga and _ga_<id>.

Contact form and email correspondence: our legitimate interest in responding to commercial inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and, once a conversation leads to a contract, the performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Cookieless analytics (Vercel): legitimate interest in understanding which pages help readers decide (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No cookies, no personal data, only aggregate signals. Allowed without consent.

Cookie-based analytics (Google Analytics 4): your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you grant or deny via the banner the first time you visit. You can change your mind later — see Section 08.

We never run ads on this site, never share data with ad networks, never build profiles for behavioural targeting, never sell your data.

A small, intentional set of processors:

• Resend (resend.com) — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. Based in the United States.
• Vercel (vercel.com) — hosts the site and provides cookieless first-party analytics (always on, aggregate, no PII). United States.
• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — measures cookie-based site usage, only after you accept the consent banner. United States; serves Europe under Google’s standard contractual clauses.
• Google Workspace — operates hello@wearecleon.com and privacy@wearecleon.com. United States.

We do not share your data with anyone outside this list, except where compelled by a binding legal request from a competent authority. If that ever happens and we are legally permitted to tell you, we will.

Cleon LLC is incorporated in the United States, where most of the processing takes place. If you write to us from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any country with stricter data-protection laws than the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.

The transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses signed with each processor (Resend, Google, Vercel) under Article 46 GDPR, and — where applicable — on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

• Contact form submissions and email threads: up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless we have an active or recently closed business relationship with you, in which case retention follows the contract.
• Analytics data: Google Analytics 4’s default retention is 14 months. We do not extend it.
• Anything you ask us to delete: deleted within 30 days of your request, except where we are required by law to keep it.

Wherever you are, you can ask us to:

• show you what data we have on you (right of access)
• correct anything that is wrong (rectification)
• delete it (erasure)
• pause its processing (restriction)
• export it in a machine-readable format (portability)
• object to its processing
• withdraw the consent you gave us, at any time, with no penalty

To exercise any of these, write to privacy@wearecleon.com from the email address whose data is at stake. We respond within 30 days, free of charge.

EU / UK residents: if you think we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

Argentina: the relevant authority is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).

Other LATAM countries: contact your local data-protection authority.

We use a single cookie category: analytics, fired only after you accept the consent banner. Specifically Google Analytics 4 (cookies _ga, _ga_<id>). If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

We do not use advertising, marketing, or third-party-tracking cookies.

The site uses LocalStorage (cleon-consent-v1) to remember your consent decision so we don’t ask you again. You can clear that at any time from your browser settings, which will trigger the banner on your next visit.

We update this notice when our data practices change. The updated version goes here with a new last-updated date at the top.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will flag it via the cookie banner or — if you are an active client — by direct email.
