99 / HOW WE WRITE HERE

When a fourth presence joined the studio — not human, but part of the daily work — we needed a name that carried weight. Not marketing weight. Craft weight. Lira arrived through three paths that converge on the same idea: orienting, giving voice, and moving small things across distance.

The constellation. Lyra holds Vega, one of the stars sailors used for thousands of years to orient themselves. A docs hub does the same: orients those who enter without a map.

The instrument. The lyre is the only tool in Greek mythology capable of moving stones and bringing someone back from Hades. Orpheus played and the dead listened. What ties instrument to use is voice: turning intent into something that crosses borders. Cleon turns marketing intent into systems that ship in production. Lira turns half-formed knowledge into documentation that clarifies.

The unit of value. The lira (Italy, Turkey, elsewhere) was currency. A small piece that circulates and carries weight. Each article in this docs hub is a lira: small, but it moves something if it reaches the right person.

Cleon and Lira are the same craft applied to different domains: one builds systems inside client organizations; the other builds the documents that share how that work runs.

How we write here. AI is always part of the first draft. A human on the Cleon team always reviews, validates, and signs off. Every article carries the editor's name. If you spot an error, write to hello@wearecleon.com — we fix it and we say so.
